Kaimira Estate is an environmentally responsible business and all their wines are accredited under Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand and the carboNZero programme
Michael Cooper describes it as, "Grown in Nelson, the 2008 vintage is a powerful wine, robust with a spicy bouquet and loads of peachy, spicy flavour, dryish and rounded.”
The wine was aged on light lees for several months following fermentation, to enhance texture and weight, and a small portion was allowed to go through malolactic fermentation.
