Brilliant lemon-hued straw-yellow in colour, this has a tight and lightly expressed linear nose of rose-petal perfumes and herbs. Dry, tight and compact in style, the fruit flavours are of red florals and spices along with peppery notes. While on the delicate side, the flavours are supported by some oiliness to the textures. The wine finishes with a little spicy bitterness that is characteristic of the variety. Match with delicately spiced Thai and Vietnamese food over the next 2-3+ years.
