Composition: Auckland Chardonnay 100%
Vinification:
The fruit was hand picked and whole bunch pressed, The juice was cold settled overnight and then racked to tank to be inoculated with selected yeasts. Yhe juice commenced ferment in tank until about half the sugar had been fermented and then cooled and put to seasoned barrels to complete fermentation. 25% of the blend has undergone malo lactic fermentation. The wine was left on gross lees and stirred weekly for 5 months. The wine was aged in barrel for about eight months prior to fining, filtering and bottling.

Medium straw with brilliant clarity.
Aroma:
A delicious aroma of ripe stonefruit and grapefruit.
Palate:
A charming Chardonnay with a lovely rich texture from the malo and lees contact. The wine is full of fruit and finishes fresh and clean with a lovely balance of fruit sweetness and a crisp natural acidity.
Cellering: Enjoy lightly chilled or cellar through to 2010.
