‘13’ is a true expression of the potential of Pinot Noir in Central Otago. Very low yields of very high quality Pinot Noir grapes were hand harvested from Alexandra.
Deep purple in color, the layers of this wine fill the nose with bramble, thyme, blackberry, black cherry, licorice and hints of cocoa. Spiced vanilla oak and smoky notes complete an enriching sensory experience.
Full bodied with intense layers of flavor, the wine is supported by ripe tannins and earth in a long, full finish. The wine can be enjoyed on release from 2011 with decanting.

Its unique qualities enable our Pinot Noir to elevate an extraordinary variety of dishes. The vibrant cherry flavours of the more southerly Pinot Noirs flatter the flavours of turkey like the classic garnish, cranberry sauce.
