Details
The Del Broi 'Single Bin' Cabernet Merlot 2010 is a dark red colour with full blackberry and plum aromas. This is enhanced by french oak and eucalyptus notes. In the mouth it offers dark stone fruits with subtle coffee bean accents. It finishes long, with a velvety tannin backbone. Drinking well now through 2017.
A wine review written by our competition winner Nina: Aromas of figs, prunes, truffles, smoked garlic, mixed berries, boiled sweets, and blackberries. Mixed spice with freshly ground black pepper and violets mingle from the palate to the nose. Good smooth tannins with a well rounded balance. A perfect match with a rack of lamb.
